Our Process

Every dog that comes to us follows the same four steps. The details change with the program and with the dog, but the shape of it does not — and neither does the part at the end, which is the part most training programs leave out.

Step 1 — Consultation

We start by meeting you and your dog. We assess their behavior, listen to what is actually happening at home, and talk through what you want life with your dog to look like. From that we build a training plan tailored to your dog rather than a package picked off a shelf. The evaluation is free and there is no obligation.

Step 2 — Immersive training

Your dog lives with their assigned trainer 24 hours a day. No kennels, no downtime — consistent, structured learning woven into ordinary daily life. Training starts in a low-distraction environment so your dog can build trust and understand what is being asked. As their confidence grows, we take the work into the real world: stores, restaurants, busy sidewalks, and around other dogs and people.

Step 3 — Owner handoff

This is the step that decides whether training lasts. We do not simply hand you back a leash. We teach you the system your dog has learned — how to communicate clearly, how to reinforce the behavior you want, and how to hold the standard your dog has been held to. A trained dog returning to an untrained handler goes backwards, so we make sure that does not happen.

Step 4 — Lifetime support

Questions next month? Next year? We are still here. Refresher sessions, pack walks and direct access to your trainer, for the life of your dog, at no extra charge. Dogs have setbacks — reactive dogs especially — and we would far rather you call us than struggle through it alone.
